Play 21 Card Game

To be the first player to get rid of all their cards by matching them with cards on the discard pile.

Play 21 Card Game


  1. Shuffle the deck and deal out 4 cards to each player.
  2. Turn over the top card of the remaining deck to start the discard pile.


  1. The player to the left of the dealer goes first.
  2. On your turn, you must try to match one of your cards with the top card on the discard pile.
  3. If you have a match, you place it on the discard pile and draw a new card from the deck.
  4. If you don't have a match, you must draw a card from the deck.
  5. If the card you draw matches the top card on the discard pile, you can place it down and draw another card. Otherwise, your turn ends.
  6. When a player gets rid of all their cards, they yell “21!” and win the game.

Special Rules:

  • Ace: An ace can be used as either a 1 or an 11.
  • Joker: A joker can be used to represent any card.
  • 2 of Spades: The 2 of spades is a wild card and can be used to match any card.
  • Double Draw: If you have a pair of cards that match the top card on the discard pile, you can place both cards down and draw two new cards.


  • 5 Card Draw: Players are dealt 5 cards instead of 4.
  • High Card: The player with the highest card on the discard pile wins the game.
